Join a dancing course

The Basics

Dancing can take many forms and has seen a bit of a revival considering the many different TV dancing competitions.  Dancing forms include ballroom, Latin-American, pole, sequence, traditional Japanese, Irish, Morris (for those who love bells and ribbons), salsa or line-dancing – so there is definitely going to be one that suits you!

Did you know the Oxford dictionary defines dance as follows – ‘move about rhythmically alone or with a partner or in a set, usually in fixed steps or sequences to music, for pleasure or entertainment’ or ‘to move in a lively way’ – note: this definition clearly means that anyone can dance.
