Increasing activity around the house is one way to keep fitter and burn calories.
Tips & tricks
- Leave your cordless and/or mobile phone in another room, so when it rings you have to get up to answer it. (Don’t cheat by getting someone to bring it to you).
- Set the number of times your phone rings before the answer machine kicks in 2-3 times less than it is now – this way you will have to get to the phone quicker (if don’t screen all your calls that is).
- If you have a land line phone up stairs, go upstairs to make and answer calls instead of always using the one downstairs.
